What is the unpardonable sin and can a Christian commit it?
Jesus said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. I'm terrified I may have committed it in my past, before I was saved. Can a genuine believer commit this sin? What exactly is it?

The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:28-30) was spoken in the context of the Pharisees attributing Jesus' miracles to Satan while consciously rejecting Him. It is the final, willful, persistent repudiation of the Spirit's testimony about Christ — not a moment of doubt, anger at God, or past sin. The fact that you are asking this question with fear and desire for forgiveness is itself evidence of a responsive heart. A truly hardened heart would not care. 1 John 1:9 promises cleansing for all who confess. You are not outside the reach of grace.
