Can a Christian lose their salvation?

I've been studying both Arminian and Calvinist views and I'm genuinely confused. Some passages seem to say we are eternally secure, others seem to warn about falling away. What does Scripture actually teach? I want to understand this correctly, not just pick a side.

Is tithing required for New Testament Christians?

My pastor says we must tithe 10% or we are robbing God (Malachi 3:10). But I've read that we are no longer under the Mosaic law. Is tithing a command for New Testament believers or is it optional?

Jesus said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. I'm terrified I may have committed it in my past, before I was saved. Can a genuine believer commit this sin? What exactly is it?

I recently attended a Pentecostal service and they said tongues is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. My home church never speaks in tongues. Who is right? Is this still a gift for today?
